Understanding Timestamps for Check-In Feedback
Understanding Timestamps for Check-In Feedback
Updated over a week ago

After an employee completes their check-in, the manager's next crucial step is to offer feedback through the "Manager Feedback" section. WorkDove provides a clear documentation system with date and time stamps, ensuring accountability and transparency in the feedback process.

Once the manager fills out the "Manager Feedback" section, a date and time stamp are automatically generated, signifying when the feedback was provided. Additionally, WorkDove records the date and time when the employee accesses this feedback.

Timestamp information is readily accessible within the list view in the Check-In application.

Here's how timestamps are displayed in various scenarios:

  • No Feedback Provided Yet: In the example below, the employee checked in but the manager hasn't provided feedback yet. The date noted the date in the "Manager Feedback Last Viewed" column serves as a reference for when the employee last viewed the record.

  • Feedback Provided, but Not Viewed by Employee:

    • In this example, the manager has provided feedback, but the employee hasn't viewed it. WorkDove highlights this by displaying a red "pill." This indicates that the employee hasn't accessed the feedback yet.

  • Feedback Provided and Viewed by Employee:

    • In the third example, he manager provided feedback and the employee viewed it afterward so the "pill" turns green and shows the date the feedback was viewed in WorkDove.

Understanding these timestamp indicators provides managers and employees with valuable insights into the feedback exchange process, promoting effective communication and accountability within the organization.
