The video below provides a brief overview of the check-in process.
Step 1: Accessing Your Check-In
There are 3 ways to access your check-in: email, dashboard card, or navigation menu.
Email: Some organizations may decide to enable regular check-in reminder emails. In this case, you will receive an email notification with a direct link to access your check-in.
Dashboard Card: You can access your check-in by clicking "Check-In" in the upper right corner of your check-in dashboard card. This button may say "Resume Check-In" if you have already drafted portions of your check-in. This dashboard card also includes feedback from your manager (if applicable) and the due date of your next check-in.
Navigation Menu: Your check-in can also be accessed by clicking Apps > Check-Ins in your lefthand navigation menu. Once inside the app, you can click the "Check-In" or "Resume Check-In" button in the upper right corner.
Step 2: Completing Your Check-In
Depending on your organization's account settings, you may see a variety of tabs across the top of your check-in form, beginning with the "Questions" section. You can navigate to each section by clicking on the teal navigation bar.
When completing your check-in, you will also notice that information about your latest check-in (your responses and any manager feedback) will be located on the far right.
For more information about completing each section of the check-in, please view the video above.
Step 3: Submitting Your Check-In
Once all required fields in the check-in form are complete, you will click the "Complete Check-In" button in the upper right corner. Your manager's email address will auto-populate in the E-mail tab and they will be notified once you click complete.
Optional Step: Save & Close
If you started a check-in but you are not yet ready to submit, you have the option to save and close your drafted response. In the upper right corner you will see an autosave timestamp. Ensure that the timestamp reflects your most recent edit and then click the "Close" button.
When you are ready to resume, you will access your drafted check-in using the steps above. In this case, your check-in buttons will reflect the "Resume Check-In" language.
