Depending on your user role, you may need to locate goals for various users. Below is a description of each user role's access for locating existing goals.

Admin/Super User Roles

Admins and Super Users can utilize the "My Company" context to access all goals across the organization.

Depending on your organization's goal configuration, Admins may have access to different views within the Goals application. However, all Admins will have access to the "All Goals" view, regardless of whether the account is set up with a simplified or cascading goal structure.

In the "All Goals" view, a default filter displays only "Open" goals. Admins can locate goals across the organization and utilize the filters on the far right to refine their searches further.

Cascading Structure

If your organization uses a cascading structure for goals, Admins will see three additional views to help visualize the cascade of goals throughout the organization.

Each cascading view defaults to the current calendar year to ensure that all goals within the cascade are visible, regardless of open or closed status. If needed, you can always extend the default date range to view additional goals.

Manager Users

If you have direct reports within WorkDove, there are two methods to access your team's goals:

  1. From the Goals Dashboard card, choose "Manage."

  2. Navigate to "Goals" under the Apps section.

Note: Use the context switcher to ensure you're in the correct view. If you're in "Me," you'll see your own goals. If you select "My Team," you'll see the goals of your direct reports.

Depending on the Goal configuration set by your organization, you may see various views to manage your team's goals. Regardless of the configuration, all managers have access to the "All Goals" view.

Within the "All Goals" view, two filters will automatically apply:

  1. Your view will default to show your team's "Open" goals.

  2. The filter will display only individuals for whom you are the primary manager.

Important Notes:

  • If you're a manager of managers, seeking goals further down the hierarchy, you can adjust or remove the primary manager filter or as needed.

  • Partner Users see mirrored capabilities to managers within the "My Group" context.

Employee Level Users

In the "Me" context, employees can view goals where they are assigned as the "Person Responsible." This view defaults to show "Open" goals. To view or edit a goal, employees can click the three-dot menu beside each goal.
