Once your IDP+ application has been configured, your team members can begin assigning IDP+ forms.
To assign an IDP+, follow the steps below:
Navigate to Apps > IDP+ and select the Green + to Add New IDP+ .
Once on the creation page, you can choose which option to toggle on/off for both the Development Plan and the Improvement Plan. If the item is toggled off, it will not be included in the IDP+ once assigned to the employee.
Development Plan
Note: The title of this tab is customizable and may vary across organizations.
Start building the Target Development Area by clicking on the teal 'Add Target Development Area' plus button.
Next, a prompt will appear for you to complete the fields for the Target Development Area.
You can use the drop-down menu to select a Target Development Area. Target Development Areas already created will be pulled from the IDP+ Objectives feature under the Library ( Library > IDP+ Objectives).
To create a new Target Development Area, press the Green Plus button next to the drop-down menu. Once completed, it will save in Library > IDP+ Objectives as well.
Managers and Employees can add Target Development Areas within the Development Plan. Note: Employees can edit only the Rows they created. Managers and above can edit any row.
Once you have completed the required fields, click 'Save' in the bottom right. This target development area will then populate in the development plan.

Talent Insight Card
Complete the Talent Insight Card by typing directly into the open text boxes when under the Comments tab. The descriptions under the Description tab are for your reference only. Note: Only manager-level users and above can view this tab.
Improvement Plan
Note: The title of this tab is customizable and may vary across organizations.
When the Improvement Plan toggle is switched on, you will encounter various fields that need to be filled out. During the assignment of the Improvement Plan, you have the flexibility to draft as much of this tab as you prefer.
Once the IDP+ plan has been created, there is an additional step before the Improvement Plan tab is visible to the employee. For more information on completing this process, please refer to this article.
Notes
Document any important notes about the employee prior to assigning out the form if you wish. However, no notes are required to be completed before assigning out IDP+. Note: Only manager-level users and above can view this tab.
People (Assign)
The People Tab allows you to select who the plan will be assigned to. Managers can only search and create an IDP+ form for individuals within their reporting structure. If the individual already has an IDP+ assigned, the employee's name will not be displayed on this list. Once the employee's name is selected, click the teal "Create" button in the top right-hand corner.
