Check-In Sentiment Score

Sentiment Score is a powerful way to communicate engagement during the Check-In process.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Employees can submit a Sentiment Score with optional comments during the Check-In process. Sentiment Scores are tracked over at least 3 Check-In responses and presented to managers in the form of a trend graph and average rating.

Enabling Check-In Sentiment Score

To begin using the Check-In Sentiment Score, first ask your admin to navigate to Account Settings > Preferences, then under Check-Ins set "Enable Check-In Sentiment Score" to On.

Selecting a Sentiment Score

Once enabled, employees can select a Sentiment Score while Checking-In by navigating to Apps > Check-Ins, then clicking Check-In or Resume Check-In. From the Check-In form, next open the Pulse tab and select a rating. Any comments regarding the selected rating can optionally be entered as well.

Viewing Sentiment Score & Analysis

To view the employee's sentiment score and analysis, navigate to Apps > Check-Ins, then find the user you wish to view. Click the dot menu next to the user's name, then press View Check-Ins to load the Check-In carousel.

In the Pulse tab, you'll see the Sentiment Score from the current Check-In, any comments entered, the sentiment trend, and the average pulse in the sidebar.

The Pulse report, shown above the manager feedback box, includes the current Pulse rating, a trend report, and an average of the last 3 scores. Once 3 or more Check-In responses with Sentiment Scores are submitted, the average will populate. Managers can also access team insights via the Check-In Reporting Dashboard.
