What are OKRs?
Updated over 10 months ago

OKRs, or Objectives and Key Results, are a goal-setting method widely used to plan and achieve goals across different levels in an organization, from the top level down to departments and individuals. The primary goal is to deliver meaningful results.

Objectives: These are specific goals set by an organization, team, or individual. Objectives answer the question, "What do we want to do?" and are qualitative and time-bound.

Key Results: Key Results outline how objectives will be achieved. They address the question, "How will we know if we've met our objectives?" and provide quantitative, concrete measures of success. Key Results define the "how," "who," and "when."

In the WorkDove platform, when using the Cascading Goals configuration, you can customize the goal labels, including using OKRs. You can also align the three cascading goal levels with OKRs, naming them Strategies, Objectives, and Key Results. The choice of labels can be adapted to your organization's specific needs, as determined by your account administrator, allowing for a tailored approach that aligns with your organization's objectives and goal-setting process.

These labels can be changed by an Admin user in your account settings. In your left menu, navigate to settings > account settings > preferences > goal management.
