There are 3 options for reminding your team to complete their Performance Reviews:
Bulk Reminders (Manual)
Scheduled Auto-Reminders (Automated)
Individual Record Reminders (Manual)
Bulk Reminders
There are two types of Bulk Reminders that can be sent during the review process.
Pipeline Bulk Reminders
In the pipeline view, you have the option to send bulk email reminders. Each pipeline stage has a mail icon located at the top of the column which will trigger an email to each user in this stage. The email notification message and recipient will vary, depending on where the record stands in the review process. See below for more information:
Awaiting Self Assessment: The employee will receive an email reminder to complete their self-assessment.
Awaiting Your Assessment: The manager will receive an email reminder to complete their evaluation of the employee.
Awaiting Revision: The manager will receive a notification that they have a review pending revision.
Please Note: This pipeline stage may not be present, depending on account configuration.
Awaiting Approval: Depending on your account settings, the approver of the review will be notified that there are reviews pending approval. This could be the account admins/super users or the next manager in the upline.

Awaiting Conversation: The manager will be notified that they have reviews pending conversation and finalization.
Employee Signature Bulk Reminders
Once the review has been signed by the manager and it moves the the "Past" tab, the employee then has the ability to sign the review as well and and leave additional comments if they would like to. The "Past" tab features a Bulk Operations tool allowing you to send a reminder to employees to sign their review.
To use the Bulk Operations tool:
Navigate to the "Past" tab and select the Bulk Operations tool.
Choose the reviews for which you'd like to send employee reminders.Then click the airplace icon to "Send Mass Reminders." Click the airplane icon to "Send Mass Reminders."
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click "Send Remidners" to queue the reminder emails for sending.
Scheduled Auto-Reminders
Account admins can choose to schedule and customize performance review reminders through the account settings. To utilize this option go to Settings > Account Settings > Reminders. Next, click the checkbox next to the option that says "Send email auto-reminder for Current Performance Reviews."
When configuring these reminders, you can adjust the body of the email reminder if needed. Next, you will determine when you want the reminder email to be sent.
Depending on your account configuration, you will see different options/wording for scheduling your automated reminders. We offer 2 configuration options: one review due date or multiple review due dates.
One Review Due Date Configuration:
This is our default configuration. This configuration allows you to set one due date for the performance review. This singular due date should indicate when you need the review signed and finalized.
When setting up your scheduled auto-reminders for this configuration, you will see the following scheduling options:
Days Before - Employee: Enter the number of days before the due date of the review in which you would like employees to receive an automated reminder to complete their self-assessment.
Example: If the review due date is 12/15/24 and you want employees to receive a reminder email on 12/1/24, you will set this value as 14 days before.
Days Before - Managers: Enter the number of days before the due date of the review in which you would like managers to receive an automated reminder to complete their portion of the review.
Example: If the review due date is 12/15/24 and you want managers to receive a reminder email on 12/10/24, you will set this value as 5 days before.
Days After Managers: Enter the number of days after the due date of the review in which you would like the managers to receive an automated reminder to finalize and sign the review if they have not already.
Example: If the review due date is 12/15/24 and you want managers to receive a reminder email on 12/20/24, you will set this value as 5 days after.
Multiple Due Dates Configuration:
This configuration allows you to set separate due dates for the employee assessment, manager assessment, and sign-off, instead of one final due date. For more information about this configuration option, visit this article.
Since each party has a separate due date for their portion, when setting up your scheduled auto-reminders for this configuration you will see the following options:
Days Before Self-Assessment Due Date: Enter the number of days before the self-assessment due date in which you would like employees to receive an automated reminder to complete their portion.
Days Before Manager Assessment Due Date: Enter the number of days before the manager assessment due date in which you would like managers to receive an automated reminder to complete their portion.
Days Before Sign-Off Due Date: Enter the number of days before the sign-off due date in which you would like managers to receive an automated reminder to finalize and sign the review.
Individual Record Reminders
Current Review Reminders
In the list view within the Performance Review application you can manually trigger a reminder for individual review records. To do so, click on the 3-dot menu next to the employee's name. Then select "Send Email Reminders" from the record actions menu.
Next, you will receive a pop-up menu asking which user you are looking to remind. You can select one or both users and this will instantly trigger an email reminder.
Past Review Reminders
After the review is completed and signed by the manager and moved to the "Past" tab, you can manually send an email requesting the employee to sign their completed review.
