As you know, the Check-In feature autosaves your comments every 3 seconds as you are typing. You will see an autosave timestamp in the top right corner.

If you started your Check-In and are now ready to complete and submit it to your manager(s) use the Resume Check-In button.

When you select the Resume Check-In button, the form will load your previously autosaved comments and allow you to add to your responses and Complete your Check-In.

Keep In mind that when Admin Users Bulk Edit Check-In questions, it will force any "In Progress" Check-Ins to be submitted. If you were working on a Check-In and you see it was submitted pre-maturely, it is because your Check-In questions have changed and the In progress one was forced to Submit.
