Core Values Report
Updated over 2 weeks ago

Organizations using WorkDove's Performance Review application can access the Core Values Report. This report is available exclusively to account super users and admins. It consolidates manager assessment scores for core values within performance reviews to help you identify trends, celebrate strengths, and uncover opportunities for growth across your team.

Please Note: Organizations often use different terms for Core Values, such as Workplace Behaviors or Competencies. When this occurs, the report title will adjust to match the language configured in your account.

Navigating the Core Values Report:

The report can be accessed by navigating to the "Reports" section in the left-hand menu and selecting "Core Values" from the available options.

The primary view of the report displays data from all finalized performance reviews for active employees. However, you can filter the report by specific core values, teams or departments, or other performance review identifiers such as cycle, year, and template name. To apply a filter, simply click the filter icon (funnel shape) in the upper-right corner of the report.

Interpreting the Core Values Report

The Core Values Report is designed to provide insights into your organization's performance related to its core values. The report displays a breakdown of how many users received each of the five-star rating values for each core value. Additionally, it shows the overall performance average for each core value.

For example, in the table below, the core value "Active Listening" shows that six users were rated 3 stars, and one user was rated 5 stars. This results in a company average score of 3.29 for this core value.

Key Points to Note:

  • The score count reflects the manager's ratings, not self-assessment scores.

  • Only active users are included in the report; inactive users are excluded from the data.

  • The report pulls data from finalized performance reviews in the "Past" view of the Performance Review application.

  • By default, the report displays data from all years in the system. However, you can apply filters to refine the data further.

Leveraging the Core Values Report gives you a deeper understanding of how your team embodies your organization’s core values. Still have questions? Reach out to our support team for assistance.
