How to Remove Recognition Records
Updated over 10 months ago

When someone receives recognition, there is an option to flag that recognition record to remove it from WorkDove.

Why might you want to flag a recognition?

  • Incomplete or submitted for the wrong individual.

  • Contains sensitive information not suitable for the entire organization.

  • Lacks positivity or contains negative content.

  • Was intended as a test and not for genuine acknowledgment purposes.

Who can flag recognition?

Admin users, Super users, the employee's Primary Manager, and the employee who received the recognition have the option to flag a Recognition record.

How to flag a recognition record

To flag and remove a recognition record, you can simply utilize the flag icon located in the bottom right corner of the record.

After clicking the flag icon, you will be taken to a new screen in which you will be asked to provide a reason for flagging the recognition before clicking "Flag." If you did not mean to flag the recognition, you can cancel from this screen as well.

Note: Flagging the recognition will remove it from the application entirely. When a record is flagged, an email is sent to the manager, Admin, and Super users, notifying them of the removal and the reason behind it.
