We prioritize keeping you informed without email overload. We achieve this through a tiered notification system based on the feature triggering the alert and your user role:

Individual Emails: These deliver important updates requiring your immediate action. They are mostly for employee-level users.

Activity Emails: These provide periodic summaries of relevant organizational or team activity, tailored to your role. This reduces the need for individual alerts and offers a broader view.

This approach ensures you receive the information you need while minimizing email clutter.

Below are the different notification types you might receive based on your user role:


Notifications for Employees

As an employee user, you may receive the following individual email notifications. Please note that Manager-level users also receive these emails regarding their records in WorkDove.

General

  • Welcome Email: Get started with WorkDove!

  • Export Ready (Large Exports): Download link for exports exceeding 100 records.

Recognition:

  • Recognized: You've been recognized by a colleague!

  • Recognition Flagged: A recognition you received has been removed.

Check-Ins:

  • New Check-In: Complete a check-in with your manager.

  • Check-In Reminders: Don't forget your upcoming check-in.

  • Feedback from Manager: Your manager has left feedback on a completed check-in.

Goals:

  • Goal Assigned: You're responsible for a new goal.

  • Goal Update: A goal you're involved in has been updated.

  • Goal Contribution: You've been added as a contributor to a goal.

360 Feedback:

  • 360 Request: Complete a self-assessment or feedback for others.

  • 360 Reminder: Don't forget your pending 360 feedback.

Performance Reviews:

  • Self-Assessment: Time to complete your self-assessment.

  • Review Reminder: Don't forget to complete your self-assessment

  • Sign Your Review: Time to view and sign your Performance Review

Learning, Agendas & Surveys:

  • Learning Assigned: New learning topics for you to complete.

  • Learning Reminder: Don't forget your assigned learning topics.

  • Agenda Update: The agenda you're attending has been updated.

  • Survey Request: Complete a survey from your manager or HR.


Notifications for Managers

Managers receive a mix of individual emails and team updates delivered via Message Center and Team Activity emails to help prioritize actions.

Team Activity Emails:

  • Provide summaries of various team activities, including recognition given to team members, check-in requests, goal updates, 360 reviews, self-assessments, review completions, and learning completions. Click here to learn more.

Individual Emails to Managers:

  • Completed Check-Ins: A direct report completed a scheduled check-in.

  • Review Reminders: Reminders about upcoming or overdue review assessments.

  • Review Action Required: Alerts for team reviews requiring revisions, approval, or conversation (depending on account settings).


Notifications for Administrative or Super Users

Most notifications are related to manager and employee users, however, there are times when an Administrative user or Super may receive specific notifications as well.

Company Activity Emails:

Similar to the Team Activity emails, Admins and Super Users will receive periodical Company Activity emails. These provide summaries of various company-wide activities, including those related to Recognition, 360 Feedback, and Performance Reviews that require approval. Click here to learn more.

Individual Emails to Admins/Super Users:

  • Reviews Awaiting Your Approval (Reminder Pushed from Pipeline View): Reviews requiring your approval if the approval workflow is enabled.
