To give Recognition in WorkDove, navigate to the Recognition application either through the Recognition Dashboard card or locate the Recognition app under Apps.
Once in the application, click the green (+) sign.
On the next page, there will be two tabs for you to complete.
Core Value Tab
Under the "Relevant Core Value" field, select the Core Value you want to recognize the individual(s) for.
Note: There is an option for "Other Core Value" at the bottom of this list. This option allows you to recognize someone for an item not listed in the dropdown.
There is also a text box that allows you to include a message highlighting how this individual displayed the core value you selected.
People Tab
Within the People tab, you can choose the individual(s) you wish to recognize. By default, towards the right side of the screen, you'll notice a filter labeled "My Team Only" for Employee users, or "Direct Reports" for Manager users and above. This filter narrows down the organization list to show those you likely interact with most.
To expand your selection beyond your immediate team, simply toggle off this filter. Additionally, you can utilize the search bar to quickly locate and select specific individuals.
At the bottom right corner, you'll find the total count of individuals you've selected to receive recognition.
After filling out all required fields, navigate to the "Preview" button located in the top right corner.
This feature enables you to review the recognition exactly as it will appear to other members of your organization.
Viewing and Liking Recognition
After the recognition is created, you can view it within the feed in the Recognition app. Here, others have the opportunity to like your recognition.
