Personal Goals & Professional Development Objectives within the Performance Review
Updated over 9 months ago

Many of our organizations choose to include the "Development" tab with Performance Reviews. If this tab is present, employees have an opportunity to reflect on their personal goals and professional development within their self-assessment.

There are two ways to access this portion of your review.

From your dashboard, you will see a Personal & Professional Goals dashboard card. From here you can select 'Add Your Goals.'

You can also access the development tab from the left hand navigation menu b selecting Performance Reviews under Apps.

Once in the Development section of your review, you'll encounter two text boxes. The first, titled 'Personal Goals and Professional Development Objectives,' provides space for you to share any items you believe are important to include in this review. The second text box allows you to elaborate on your achievements related to those items.

โ€‹Note: Depending on your organization's account settings, you may encounter additional fields below these two boxes.

After adding items to the text boxes, ensure that you save your notes, even if you're not ready to submit your self-assessment. Once added, your goals will appear on your dashboard ('Me' navigation selector as a manager) in the appropriate dashboard card.

Tip: You might not be prepared to comment on how you achieved your goals when initially adding them to your assessment. In such cases, you can reserve the second text box for the end of the cycle when you're ready to submit your self-assessment.
