How do I bulk edit Check-In questions?
Updated over a week ago

Editing Check-Ins individually can be time-consuming. There are two ways to bulk edit Check-In questions that will save you time.

1. Use the Bulk Operations in Team Check-Ins to select or create a new template (this will update selected records and overwrite the questions and link the template)

2. Use an existing Check-In Template (this will only update Check-Ins linked to the selected template)

Keep in mind, when bulk editing Check-In questions ANY pending Check-Ins will automatically be submitted due to the change in questions.

Read below for steps using the Bulk Operations option in Team Check-Ins.

1. Navigate to Team Check-Ins and select the Bulk Operations icon.

2. Select the appropriate records and select Bulk Edit.

3. In the pop-up window, select an existing template or the option to create a new template.

4. Once you proceed, you will be taken to the Check-In template create/edit page to select the appropriate questions. All other bulk edit options (i.e. Frequency) will be applied. _If you select an existing template, the confirmation displays the number of records to be updated and linked to the selected template. If you opt to create a new template, the following steps need to be taken._

5. At this point, you can choose to UNDO the applied options (Frequency, Included Objectives and Core Values) using the UNDO option in the banner message and cancel creating the new template.

6. The final step to editing the questions is to name the template and select the appropriate questions using the + option.

7. Once you save the new template you will receive a confirmation message which includes the number of Check-In records to be updated and linked to the new template. If you cancel at this point, the questions will not be changed on existing Check-Ins.
