How do I assign templates?

Templates are an efficient way to setup many Check-Ins, Reviews, or 360 Feedback Requests at once. Templates are also a great way to standardize these forms for the position or at the departmental or organizational level.

Now that you have created a template the next step is to assign the template to the appropriate team members.

We offer 3 templates types:

  • Check-Ins

  • 360 Feedback

  • Performance Reviews

The example below uses the Performance Review template. Assigning other template types are similar.

1. Navigate to Templates > Performance Reviews

2. Use the three-dot menu to select Assign option.

3. Complete detail options under 'Review Template' tab

4. Switch to 'People' tab to select appropriate Employees for assignment. Click here for questions regarding the People Selector.

Note: Editing and reassigning a template creates a new record and does NOT edit the existing record. Once you assign a template to create the record, edits must be made on the individual record rather than the template.

Duplicate Reviews

We recently added a feature which will alert you when you are about to create a duplicate review for a team member. If the Year and Review Cycle are the same as an existing review for the employee you will see a pop-up window (pictured below) alerting you about potential duplicates. Duplicates will not be assigned but other reviews which will not be duplicates will be created.
