Communication is important!

It is best to send some form of communication to your team to ensure they are aware of your new performance management application. This can be accomplished in many ways:

  • Conducting a training / introduction meeting

  • Sending an email to your staff

  • Conducting one-on-one meetings

Below is an example of an introduction email to get you started. Feel free to customize as you see fit.

Hello,

{Company Name} recognizes the value in creating relationships and coaching others to produce outstanding results. In support of this, we will be implementing WorkDove.

To log in for the first time, please navigate to https://app.workdove.com/site/login and select 'Register Account'. This will allow you to set a password and log in for the first time (Hint: your username is your email).

Managers and employees will have {Frequency of Check-Ins} Check-Ins online paired with an {Frequency of Review} Performance Review.

We are utilizing Check-Ins to provide structure and to automate communication for effective one-on-one meetings.

Today, you will receive an email from WorkDove with a link to Learn topics that walk you through how to complete your responsibilities within the application.

You will be assigned a Check-In on {Date}. After this time a reminder to complete this will be sent to you {Frequency of Check-In} from the assigned date.

Due Dates:

Complete Learn assignments (sent via email) by: {Date}

Conduct Alignment meeting (Manager will set date): {Date}

Check-Ins Due (in-person): {Date}

Complete Self-Assessment: {Date}

Complete 360-Degree Feedback: {Date}

Conduct Coaching Conversation (Manager will set date): {Date}
