Incorporating Workplace Satisfaction into the Review Process
Updated over a week ago

Depending on your account configuration, your team can access the Workplace Satisfaction report under the Pulse tab. The Workplace Satisfaction report plays a pivotal role in assessing and comprehending the well-being of your staff. It serves as a crucial metric, offering valuable insights into the overall mood of your organization, illustrated through four pie charts aligned with the quadrants of the Performance Values-Matrix. It's important to note that only completed (signed) review records contribute to these reports.

Note: If your organization opted to use the original Performance Values Matrix the labels are updated to Star, Potential, Aligned, and Right Fit.

How Data is Incorporated in the Report:

When Workplace Satisfaction is included in Performance Reviews, employees completing their self-assessment will see a tab within their review titled “Satisfaction” which will include the following standard questions:

Workplace Satisfaction Rating

(Note: The response scale can be customized in your account's 'Settings'.)

  • Very Pleased

  • Pleased

  • Content

  • Okay, but could be better

  • Frustrated

Open-Ended Questions

  • What could improve your workplace satisfaction?

  • What did your manager and/or company do to help you feel appreciated?

Once a review is signed by the manager and moved to the 'Past' tab, the workplace satisfaction data is populated with the employee’s responses from their self-assessment.

Reviewing the Report:

To view the Workplace Satisfaction report, navigate to Pulse and locate the Workplace Satisfaction Report tab. The report will default to the Graph View, allowing you to see a visual breakdown of all populated responses in alignment with the employees’ placement on the PVM. When viewing the report, click on a rating section of the pie chart to access corresponding ratings and answers to the questions provided on the review.

You can also view all responses in a list view by selecting “View Responses” across the top left navigation.

Tip: Following a review of the data, initiate the process of addressing frustrated High High employees, recognizing their potential significant contributions to your organization.
