It is our goal to delight users by focusing on features that are simple to use and add fun to Performance Management. This past month we worked on performance improvements and other minor tweaks to existing application features.
IDP+ Improvements
Managers can no longer toggle on/off the Development and Improvement Plan tabs. Moving forward, only HR Business Partners, Admins, Super Users, and Coaches can toggle on/off these tabs.
Performance Reviews Enhancements
We added the “Employee Start Date” and “Template” columns to the Performance Reviews table. The Y-axis label of the Performance Values Matrix is updated to “Performance Objectives” from “Performance”.
Surveys Enhancement
We now allow an option to perform a self-assessment by sending the survey link to yourself. The logged-in user will now appear in the People Selector, from where the user can select to receive a survey link.
Filter Option Enhancements
All the data table (search, sort) filters that use defined values will now have a drop-down UI component instead of a text field. The drop-down component will list all available values for the property that is being filtered.
Mobile Layout compatibility
We have updated the user interface to render a mobile device-compatible view for 360 feedback, IDP+, Performance Reviews, Check-In, Calendar, Workplace Satisfaction, Settings, Templates, and Dashboard pages. The 9-box application will not render if the WorkDove platform is accessed on a mobile device.
ADP Sync Enhancement
We have introduced a new account setting for using “Preferred Name” from ADP WorkForce Now. When this company preference is set, the ADP sync utility will pull in “Preferred Name” if available instead of “Legal Name” from ADP. If the “Preferred Name” is unavailable in ADP, the sync utility will pull the “Legal Name”.
Goal Improvements
In the account settings, we added “KPIs” as a new value in the “Change Goal Feature label” picklist.
API access to IDP+ and 9-box application
We have expanded our API support to the 9-box and IDP+ applications. Now using the WorkDove API, the user can retrieve IDP + application information such as current and historical improvement plans, development plans, IDP+ talent insights, and IDP+ notes.
Similarly, users can retrieve 9-box application data, such as all completed assignments and 9-box assessments. The API documentation can be found at https://app.workdove.com/api/documentation/v1
Recognition Enhancements
We now allow an employee and their manager the ability to flag (remove) any recognition that the employee has received.
Special Performance Review Mode
We added a new account setting allowing Performance Reviews to be hidden or visible for employee and manager users. Oftentimes organizations desire to incorporate Performance Objectives and Core Values/Workplace Behaviors into their employee Check-Ins, but do not wish to utilize our Performance Review application. This new setting will allow this capability. However, the administration (and therefore visibility) of the Performance Review application will remain for administrators, super users, and human resources business partners (our “Partner” role).
360 Degree Feedback application enhancement
We have improved the 360 Degree Feedback reporting features by adding a new report to display external feedback. The report format is similar to the 360 Degree Feedback internal report.
In addition, we now support up to 20 questions in the 360 Degree Feedback form.
