Pending 9-Box assignments can be edited. Whether you selected the wrong evaluatee(s) or need to add additional people use the dot menu for the pending assignment to edit.

Keep in mind, if you remove an evaluatee who has already been placed in the 9-Box for the pending assignment you will need to confirm the update.
