What to do with a locked Performance Review.
What to do with a locked Performance Review.
Updated over a week ago

It is time to start working on your Performance Review. You and your Manager may have the same idea and could be working on your Review at similar times.

Performance Reviews allow for only one user to be inside a Review at a time.

If someone else is already inside of your Review, then you will receive this message when trying to access your Review. However, you have the option to force your way inside of a Review if needed.

Follow these steps to unlock your Review

1. Click on the message "Record is in use. Click to unlock".

2. Confirm with your Manager (or whomever's name is listed) that they are not active in the Review.

3. Click "Request Control"

This is going to force your way into the Review and immediately kick the other person out of the Review.

Note: If one user is actively editing a Review and then they are kicked out of it, the form will autosave any work done. Do not worry about content being lost - but it is always a good idea to double-check with the other person that they are not actively working on something.
