Updated over a week ago

It is our goal to delight users by focusing on features that are simple to use and add fun to Performance Management. We are excited to announce a brand new feature - 9-Box as well as several design and workflow updates. Oh yeah, we also added a System Utilization report! Read below for release details.

FEATURE

New 9-Box Feature

Succession planning is essentially the process of identifying and coaching potential future leaders. A ‘nine-box grid’ is a matrix tool that is used to evaluate and plot a company’s talent pool based on two factors, which most commonly are performance and potential.

DESIGN

New Tab Design in Forms

We listened to the feedback from our users and updated our forms in a big way! We upgraded the tab designs and validation to provide users with a clear understanding of what needs to be completed and how to progress to the next sections.

Account Settings

Our Account Settings page got a significant upgrade with our new ON/OFF toggle slider option and updated labeling. You can also use the submenu on the left to jump to a specific section. Stay tuned - we plan to integrate the settings inside each of the features as well, giving you the power to customize where it counts.

Design 3.25 - Context Colors

We're calling this "Design 3.25" because we have big plans in the future to update the Dashboard card designs as well as add a modern touch to other parts of the application.

We added a color bar, for manager users and above, to better distinguish the context in which you are viewing the application - Me, My Team, My Group, or My Company. Along with the colors, we reduce some margins to take advantage of every pixel.

We take design seriously. In addition to the settings page and the context colors we also added a new Loading Animation Style and corrected several minor design issues within Safari browser.


WORKFLOWS

What can we say - we added a ton of updates for workflows, the least of which is how we leverage the multi-people selector into the Check-In, Performance Review, and 360 Feedback features.

Single Create - People Selector

The power of the People Selector is not just for templates anymore. We dropped the drop menus (pun intended) and added the capability to create a single record from scratch and assign it up to 20 users at time.

In addition to the People Selector we released updates for:

  • Performance Reviews - we added a "View" option and a Save & Close button.

  • Performance Reviews - we improved how the dates and filters work for the sidebar records.

  • Recognition - we traded the Recognize button with a Manage button when viewing a single employee's dashboard.

  • Users - Admins can now create and edit other Admin users. Super users are no longer able to create or edit Admin users.

  • Agendas - we added the Saved Filters option to this feature.

  • OKRs/Goals - we improved the search and select option for the Contributor field when creating or editing records.


REPORTS

Last, but certainly not least, we added a new report. While we have big plans for a Report Builder feature in the near future, we thought a System Utilization Report might be helpful in managing your team's performance management process.
