It is our goal to delight users by focusing on features that are simple to use and add fun to Performance Management. This past month we worked on performance improvements and other minor tweaks to existing application features.

Advanced Dot Menu Controls

If you are a "power" user you may be taking action on multiple records within a list or a filtered list. With each dot menu action the record opens in the same browser tab which then refreshes the list page once the action is complete.

In an effort to improve the experience for "power" users and all users alike we created an Advanced Mode for the dot menus. The Advance Mode adds the option to launch the dot menu action in a new browser tab. This means the record and action is taken in the new tab so you do not lose where you are in the original list.

The Advanced Mode is set per user by using the slider at the bottom of any dot menu and remains enabled for all dot menus in the application.

Keep in mind, dot menu actions that trigger a pop up window with a confirmation will not include the Advanced Mode option. (1105)

Check-In Bulk Reminder

Much like the Bulk Edit options for Check-Ins the Bulk Reminder option is a great time saver. You may want to send Check-In reminders to your whole team or to a selected group especially after updating the questions.

Either way the Bulk operations menu now includes reminder as an option. Not sure when you last sent a reminder, no problem. The Reminder Sent Date in the Team Check-Ins list shows the last date a reminder was sent by using the Bulk option or the single dot menu reminder. (1016) Click here for more details.

People Selector Update

The power of our people selector throughout the application was a recent improvement. This month we took that power to the next level by adding a context toggle.

For Manager users, Super users, and Administrative users the people selectors now automatically filters to first show your Direct Reports.

To view more than your direct reports simply slide the toggle to reveal the rest of your cascading reports or where appropriate the whole organization.

For Employee users the people selector automatically filters to show your "team" or other users who also report to your manager.

To view more than those who also report to your manager simply slide to the toggle to reveal the rest of the organization. (1058)

Anonymous Survey Results

Many organizations prefer Survey results to be submitted anonymously. With the new Account Setting, Survey Results - Allow Anonymous Only, you can now control the level of anonymity.

When you enable the setting the form survey includes a message letting your team know their submission will be anonymous. (1120)

ADP User Data Sync

For accounts with ADP connection for user management we automated a daily sync to streamline the process for the Admins. This update includes a summary email sent to the Admin along with a Last Sync timestamp on the People Directory. The Admins are still able to sync the ADP user data on demand as needed. (1071)

Admins can create Check-Ins, Reviews and Learn topic assignments for themselves

Often times, the Administrative user is, at least initially, is the one who creates templates and assigns the first Check-In and Review records to the organization. Up until now, the Admin user was not able to assign the Check-In or Review for themselves or assign themselves learn topics. Another Admin or Super user would need to create those records.

In order to create more efficiency with the setup we now provide the ability for the Admin users to create their own records. (1157)

Housekeeping

We updated several small items to "clean up" minor issues and ensure other items inside application are updated for consistency with recent changes. Items such as mail reminder icons, inserting missing record numbers in delete modals and adding close options when viewing some library records. (1155)
